backing tracks through same amp/cab as bass? or separate speakers?

Just trying to get an idea of what others do ...

Do you play the backing tracks or songs through the same amp/cab as your bass? Or do you have a separate unit/speakers?

I currently run the backing tracks through a separate combo amp (an old practice amp) and leave the bass alone with his amp/cab. Sounds okay ... I'm not looking to change, just getting opinions and thoughts.

Cheers!

As do i. My B15N is sitting next to my rehearsal computer system. I play though the B15 and listen to the tracks on my computer. I use a program called “the Amazing Slow Downer” to slow stuff down to more easily hear tricky parts. A corny name I know but it works quite well. :)
