Bacon coffee!?!??

I work at a local small business coffee bar, and when I got to work today I noticed a bunch of new coffee flavoring syrups on the wall. One of them was Bacon....yes I said bacon.

Of course I had to try it. Bad idea.....

love that one. not a coffee purist. i drink all the girly (read: delicious) stuff full of candy and whatnot. but bacon.. as much as i love it, has no business in coffee. bacon cupcake. fine. chocolate bacon. cool. bacon espresso.. no thanks

Not...so...much.

Back in the day I had to work with them (CCL, Costa), and the less said, the better.

That would be because all of the employee's are trying to make a recipe that it actually tastes good with this new flavor.

I think that marinating some bacon in coffee would be very good, but I don't think that bacon flavoured coffee would be something that I would enjoy.

Don't drink coffee unless it's a stay awake emergency, and don't eat bacon unless...I don't eat bacon, just never cared for it. I use it to wrap fillets and scallops because wifey like hers done that way, but I take it off mine and feed it to the mutt. She (the mutt) loves the stuff.
