Bad day for my Schecter bass..

Yesterday I was doing some work in my room and was moving some things around. I accidentally caused a surge protector to slide off the shelf it was on and it landed right on my Schecter 5'er giving it its first official dent.. :hmm:

Later on in the evening I decided to sit down with the bass for a bit and pluck out some lines.. Not even two minutes into playing when I was popping on the G string it broke.. It didn't fully snap into two pieces, more like the inner core wire broke and the outter wire just unraveled and didn't break.. So right when I was popping suddenly all the tension 'deflated' out of the string!

My poor Schecter did not have a good day yesterday.. :scowl:
