I had to take a long break from it. I told my girlfriend that I was thinking of getting a new bass. She said "you should finish your project bass" something I've been dreading dealing with. Took me 1 whole day to carve that shim down. I set the neck Sunday night. Slapped strings on to just check it yesterday, it looks like I'll be able to set it up with good action. I'm gonna put all the guts in it tonight. Maybe carve the nut up a little better. I'll post any updates. Thank you everyone!
