...My second proposal is similar, but carries a lot more historical significance. I've been in contact with the presiding body of Australian Extreme Youth Combat. They are VERY interested in being part of our launch and Sydney would be the perfect location for our proposed Main Event: BABY vs DINGO.
I cannot stress how badly the people of Oz would like to show those dingos up after that last tragedy. I'm in negotiations with (obviously) Outback Steakhouse. Right now, they will only sign on to a three event contract and one of them must include crocodiles. Well, as a Steve Irwin fan, I have my limits of taste and cannot commit to fighting an animal Mr. Irwin dedicated his life to promoting the understanding of. I'm still looking for a way around this.
I'll keep you informed.
Mike
Outback Steakhouse(brilliant idea by the way) could probably be swayed into coming on board by offering them a new dish to add to their menu. There will no doubt be a good many fight-related dingo fatalities and, rather than let potential food go to waste, they could auction off the meat at their restaurant after the fight.
Of course, some fighters are much more territorial than others, and it may be hard to pry the animal away from them. I can already picture the Outback representatives getting angry, shouting "That baby ate my Dingo!" but for the most part it would be win/win.
