Baddest bassist, literally.

Well my first choice would probably be Jean-Jacques Burnel of the Stranglers who is a Karate expert and seriously hard.

But I also remember seeing the "Selector" in the early 80s, who were a new Ska band at the time of the "Black and White" Ska revival in the UK. The Selector who were mostly black, were pursued at gigs by racist skinheads from the "National Front" in England who were intent on disrupting the gigs. Now, I don't know who their bass player was, but he was huge - looked about 6'8" on stage and with big "dreads" which made him look even taller. So these gangs of skinheads were charging the stage and this bassplayer just "drop-kicked" them off, back in to the audience; while still playing the bass line and never missing a note! I wouldn't have messed with him!! ;)

jaco got a skull fracture or something and went in a coma and then had a blood vessel blow in his brain. (who was ted nuggets bass player? was he a gun nut, he would just shoot you if he was like ted nugget, what a gun nut).
I think lemmy's looks would paralyze someone, so my dough is on lemmy, the ugly.

Didn't Jack Bruce(Cream's bassist) stab Ginger Baker(the DRUMMER) after they got in to an argument and thats why they broke up??? Stabbing your drummer is taking the joke once step further,,, I nominate Jack Bruce for baddest bassist ever,,, drummers beware,

Of course you all know that Tony Levin is G. Gordon Liddy in not too much of a disguise. He can make you disappear without a trace.

When I was a Ranger, there was an enourmous guitar player who I think fought Golden Gloves at one time. But why is it that drummers get into the most fights??
