Baddy One Shoe pedals

t-minus 1 week 'til Baby Rocket is due, but I've found enough time to sneak in a little R&D. I've got PCBs printed and ready to assemble, and I'm working on the look.

This is a tweaked version of the Honeycomb OD, but I've decided to avoid confusion with any other honey colored boxes and just change up the look altogether.

The same warm, sticky-sweet overdrive with a new wrapper

Voila...

Knobs are TBD, LED will be where the headlight is.

:eek::eek::eek:

I know, you're old hat at this baby thing now! Could be I'll be joining the club any day.

I'm still not completely set on the name for this pedal. The #24 comes from the Supro model 24 amp to which this overdrive bears a sonic resemblance, but I'm considering other ideas.

Hey Jim, I am a bit confused here. So IS it a bit different version of the circuit or just a new graphic??
And again, BEST OF LUCK to you and the Mrs. with the new Bundle-O-Joy!!!

Same circuit but I'm playing with some value tweaks and a possible diode selection switch. May be a keeper, maybe not. The original uses LED clipping only.

It also has slightly more gain on tap than the original while retaining the original character of the Honeycomb.

Germaniums would warm this sucker up more than it already is, right?

Get that baby-rocking foot ready for overnight soldering sessions while the kid cranks out!

I rocked my baby girl last night while sitting at my computer downloading music (legally of course!) Since I was using my kick drum foot, I inadvertantly gave her a less-than-soothing rythm on a few songs :/
