Badger Schism Club

So kudos to badger effects.. I have been having some issues with my schism lately (thinking a footswitch went out) and I contacted them about it. Right now I can't really afford to pay for repairs at all and I told them that but they were super cool about it and QUICK to respond to any and all questions/emails. Repairing for free!! Keep me updated at every step. Oh and I'm the second owner and they still repaired my pedal. If anybody is reading this, you should look into badger effects GREAT company! And the schism is TOP notch in quality and essential for blending.. Highly recommend!

Can someone explain this like I'm 5?

Is it possible to run chain 1 and chain 2 stacked or separate from each other? Is it possible to run chain 1 -> chain 2 in series with the press of a switch?

I don't think you can stack chain 1&2 in series.. it's like a/b mode on an ls2 only you can switch either channel on and off at will. And separate volumes for each channel, phase switches and a clean blend you can mute via a switch. Really rad pedal!

Picked up a Zoom MS-60b recently & as I'm sure most of you are aware the 60b has added a Dry blend on almost all effects.

I did some A\B comparisons between the built in dry blending & blending with the Schism.
There is no comparison ... the Schism blended sound is much much fatter & warmer & not just the 60b it was the same with other pedals with built in blends.

This pedal is bad to the bone.

Wow, what happened to this club?! lol. Almost a year and no new replies.

Any new owners? What does your chain currently look like? Are any of you using this for something other than clean/dirt blend?

Just thought I'd bump this and see what happens. I've been dreaming of getting one, but some here have pursuaded me to seriously consider the Mosquite blender as well.

sorry for the enormes picture but it deserves it haha.
finaly Got my schism! Very happy with it. Before I used a 3 channel blender. But the schism works much better for your signal since each channel has level/gain nob. So no weird volume drop problems like a blend nob would have. And my end signal is so much more a live and the smalle nuances you can hear clearly. Like a little tat of overdrive in one loop and a octave in the other loop ..... Amazing.
Thank you Robert! Best buy ever for every bassist That uses fx!

Haha well sounds as it looks haha
The order is from the badger schism 1 internal clean channel, 1st loop is korg , second loop is the darkglass overdrive and M5 in series. Then out of schism to boomerang delay/chorus to the boomerang phraser to fea compressor.

I never use effects without the Schism .... Like many others I has a boss LS-2 before the Badger ... really no comparison between them.
Yeah Darknut, you guys convinced me.
I have a Billy Sheehan Signature Drive that I really wanted to like. In the end, I didn't like the OD sound (put an SFT in the drive loop), phase inversion (thanks TB!) and not being able to defeat the Tone control (GRRR!).
