That's good....right?
Report on my newly purchased ML-112s (X2): I received them amazingly fast. They ship from just a couple hours away (Cincy to Indy), but it was the highest volume shipping time of the year and I was home playing them 2 days after purchase. As previously stated on this thread, it's hard to find better customer service than Roger and Linda. And, of course, the cabinets deliver! I found myself toning down the highs in my basement. However, I took one out to a gig last night (awesome 1 trip load-in....exactly why I went modular) at a local distillery and found myself adding the highs back in with the whole band. It sounded great through a Shuttlemax 9.2 - very punchy and full, even in a difficult (acoustically speaking) room. I can't wait to play a gig with both cabinets!
So I'm thinking about a stack with 2x ML112 and my Streamliner 900. I need to have more portable cabs (currently using one Avatar TB153), and at 37lbs, these seem to fit the bill. I use 5 strings (P with flats, active J style with rounds) tuned down a half step and play mostly rock/Blues/RnB covers.
Does this sound like an effective set-up?

Me be thinking that your wife deserves a nice dinner out the day after the cab(s) arrive. She's a keeper just like the cabs. Sounds like you're set.
My wife was pretty understanding too and I love her for that. Now she thinks I don't need my 410 anymore. She could be right.
Re-edit, I wonder what she thinks about ML115's.![]()
Any comments/thoughts about the Baer stack vs. your 212 (sound, feel, max output)? You and I made a transition from the same cab, using similar amps. That's basically what I'm pairing my ML's with, minus the 5 string and generally all passive. I also have a Shuttlemax 9.2. The cabs sounds great with either.
