just spotted this Le Fay video on Youtube ... very cool stuff! Roger's gonna be having some fun at NAMM 
The craftsmanship on the LeFay's is simply amazing, especially considering how these guys don't use any CNC machining and pretty much make everything by hand, including their pick ups and hardware. Check this video out. It shows a lot of the making of process and lets you see just how much handwork goes into their instruments. I love how the body is shaped by hand using little more than a sander and lots of skill.

Report on my newly purchased ML-112s (X2): I received them amazingly fast. They ship from just a couple hours away (Cincy to Indy), but it was the highest volume shipping time of the year and I was home playing them 2 days after purchase. As previously stated on this thread, it's hard to find better customer service than Roger and Linda. And, of course, the cabinets deliver! I found myself toning down the highs in my basement. However, I took one out to a gig last night (awesome 1 trip load-in....exactly why I went modular) at a local distillery and found myself adding the highs back in with the whole band. It sounded great through a Shuttlemax 9.2 - very punchy and full, even in a difficult (acoustically speaking) room. I can't wait to play a gig with both cabinets!
Nice. I'm a huge fan of the ML112. These cabs do sound pretty bright and aggressive at home, but on the gig I find that it just sits so nicely in the mix. You can really hear so much detail in the sound even in a dense mix. Killer cabinet!
So I'm thinking about a stack with 2x ML112 and my Streamliner 900. I need to have more portable cabs (currently using one Avatar TB153), and at 37lbs, these seem to fit the bill. I use 5 strings (P with flats, active J style with rounds) tuned down a half step and play mostly rock/Blues/RnB covers.
Does this sound like an effective set-up?

I think calling it an "effective set-up" would be a terrible understatement. I used a Streamliner with my ML112, and it was brilliant. A very complimentary pairing if you like your tone "old-school." The Streamliner puts out tons of low end, but the ML112 doesn't let it get muddy, just plenty of authority and definition.
That's basically what I'm pairing my ML's with, minus the 5 string and generally all passive. I also have a Shuttlemax 9.2. The cabs sounds great with either.

Me be thinking that your wife deserves a nice dinner out the day after the cab(s) arrive. She's a keeper just like the cabs. Sounds like you're set.
My wife was pretty understanding too and I love her for that. Now she thinks I don't need my 410 anymore. She could be right.

Recording a band video this weekend, and I was asked to make sure I bring the Valkyrie / ML112 stack just because it looks so damn cool. I'll post it when it's done!

I still have my Ampeg 410 HLF ! I need it to hold my Fender 100T. But my 2 ML-112's are going to be my gig cabs. I picked up a Mesa Prodigy to go with them. I could sell the other gear but I won't get much for the Ampeg and the Fender just sounds soooo good with the Ampeg. I have to keep it all! Btw: I am the wife.

Any comments/thoughts about the Baer stack vs. your 212 (sound, feel, max output)? You and I made a transition from the same cab, using similar amps.
