I'd expand on this by saying that the ML112 and P/flats combo works well because it seems like the mid driver gives a unique presence to the essential "P-flattiness" of that combination, while the combo of mid and low driver keeps everything full without getting tubby or slow or woolly. I have a PJ with flats and I can go from super dub to a tone that you would absolutely swear was roundwounds on a cab with a horn just by changing hand position and technique.
What I wanted to clarify, though, was that just because it works well for the P/flat doesn't mean it gives up anything on a bass with rounds, or slap, or distortion, or synth, or anything else. The coverage in the mids that this cab has (and most traditional horn-loaded cabs don't) seems like it brings out the individuality of the source better than other cabs. It can still be BRIGHT if you want it, just not in a harsh way.
I like them a lot.
edit: I like them so much I would actually like an even smaller 10"-based version so I never have to be without them.
