Baer Amplification Megathread!

Decided to move on from Series I ML112 and pick up a ML115. Like may these days, I caught the 15 speaker bug. Seems like everybody loves ML115 and looking for a little more booty but the same clarity. Any thoughts?

The ML115 is a killer cab. Never tried a ML112 but I could happily gig the 115 for the rest of my days. It was a little big for what I need and I foolishly sold it. Shouldn't have done that.

Very nice full range (or full enough) sound with plenty of sparkle up top. Nice mids that easily cut through (i mainly used mine with a 9 piece band). Certainly let the character of whatever amp I used shine through.

Believe it or not the SVT 7Pro was my favorite with the ML115.

Thanks guys for you replies. Do you use series I or series II ML112? I was looking to feel it a little more. I debated on getting the Mesa Subway 15, but thought the Bear 15 would be more flexible if I don't mind the extra 10 pounds and a little extra size.
I have two of the series II and am in south Westminster (not too far). If you want to come by and try them out to compare ... you're welcome to.

My ML-112 series 2 pair punches well above its weight class! The added fullness in low-end extention is amazing. The combination was designed to compliment each other cab. I'd love a third cab, but the two more than meet my needs.

I'll be buried with my ML-112 pair.
Now THAT'S customer loyalty!! Hey, if any of you peeps are going to be at NAMM, be sure to stop by booth 3051 and say hi. We are sharing with Brubaker Basses this year and will have a couple new cabs to show!

New 112 and 212, which will be our first cabs with horns. We'll also have the final, manufacture ready prototype of the VTI direct box.

I love my ML-115!!!! So much detailed lows!!! I do not have the Mesa Prodigy anymore or the Walkabout. I was hoping to get a Sadowsky SA-200 but I think I might just get the Mesa Strategy instead.

A killer combo is the 112 and the 115 together / stacked. These are Series II 112's.
Sorry just saw the post today. Had left wrist surgery yesterday. It is indeed fractured and now repaired- won't be playing for a long time.

Heal up soon, Bluesy. Thanks for your insight. I am thinking of adding a Series II ML112 eventually as I get the sense it is more my tone preference than the Series I. Likely only need both for a hand full of gigs a year, but I could still bring both for fun.
