B&M makes a very good vegetarian canned Boston baked beans, and Bush's aren't bad either.

Yes. Of course they are best served in bulk in a giant inflatable kiddie pool with a pair of sexy Asian chicks wrestling in extra tiny bikini's over the tiny piece of lard.

This reminds me of John Candy mud wrestling the chicks in Stripes.

There's some variety of beans that are a neurotoxin to me and a small percentage of the population. I never remember which ones but they are pretty common in "baked" beans so I don't eat them.

Baked beans are good on their own, but mix it up with some savory pulled pork and a hefty amount of chopped peppers, and I could eat myself sick.

Good to see you as well! The magnetic pull of TB is too great to escape easily. Keep your eyes peeled for another GTG at Lakland this fall--at their new shop at Berteau off of Ravenswood. Hopefully there will be a date soon.

I grew up down South, you have to love your beans there. Baked beans and BBQ, Mexican food w/beans, Cuban black bean soup, etc.
