Major Matt Mason! Yeah we must be in the same generation. Somewhere there are pictures of me happy as a clam on Christmas Day playing with my new favorite toy, Major Matt Mason's Moon Base or whatever it was and that crazy rover thing with suction cup wheels. Years later I took the kids up the street to Cape Kennedy to check out the displays and launch pads and in one of the displays behind the glass is that Moon Base and all the figures. Pretty Cool

... starter... Calamari, with a spicy Thai sauce...

... meal... Southwest grilled chicken wrap, with fries...

... drink of choice... Rogue Dead Guy ale... worked really well, with what was on my plate.

Copper River salmon still killer after one month freeze. Poached in sweet basil this time. Pasta salad w/carrots, fresh sage and parm.

Cold fresh figs with DIY goat cheese, which is getting better every day so far.

Indicookies of the sugar cookie variety. Quality control control (i.e., quantity) of key ingredients is critical. I'm not a baker but I have friends who like to work in the kitchen, and they have not yet mastered the art of consistency.

But they taste great.

I've made canabutter. I just consume it with a cracker or bread. Smoking it doesn't agree with me so much these days. Miss smoking it though.
