my current band needs a logo. my last band had a great one.

My band has had a few, I don't normally use our logo when designing our album covers and prefer to use different fonts that work with artwork.

Our most recent logo is this one:

I have a studio logo too - not that my studio is a functioning business that records anyone but ourselves, I just thought it should have a name. lol

We don't have a regular logo. Since around 1982, we have adopted this jester figure as a mascot.

We also know the [extremely easy to understand and use] difference between the plural forms and the possessive forms of words.

This is the raw basic design I did for a blues oriented project I’m currently involved with. The final “production” version (once I adjust the kerning better in a few places ) will look like raised chrome lettering off an old Cadillac . But whenever I do logos I think it’s important that your design also works every bit as well in basic black & white. That way it can be used for silk screening, embroidery, embossing, or even rubber stamping. Important if you’re planning on selling merch.

To me there’s no point in having a complex logo that can’t be used everywhere and at minimal cost.

But maybe that’s just me?
