Those of us who do play in working bands. How many have a working logo? Below is from my main band.

A logo? Heck the latest band I'm involved with doesn't even have a name, much less a logo. Our drummer even booked us a gig before we ever practiced with the new vocalist. Played that gig before practicing with the new vocalist as well. We're so backwards it's not even funny, but for now, it's working.

Glad you brought this subject up though. Reading over the last sentence of the previous paragraph I wrote, I now have a direction to work with in coming up with a band name.

Here's ours.

Story of it: In a loud environment it is really hard to pronounce the name in a manner that between non native English speakers there is no misunderstanding. Then I just taped it to my small bass cab and later on we kinda took it from that picture.
