If you like the Ampeg sound you have, check out the SCR-DI
It has a great headphone jack and mixes your IPOD as well. It would be nice if they would spring for a QSC subwoofer.

Powered mixer with shared IEM mix sounds like amateurs to me. No offense.
This, for me, would probably be a sign that I'd found the wrong band. I've never walked into a practice setting like this where i ended up liking the sound or the material.
No, they probably have not been a waste. I like using amps live, at a reasonable level with PA support. I've played maybe 3 out of hundreds of shows where the house PA and sound guy were good enough for straight to board, and I'd still rather have amps for stage sound.Can you guys please elaborate on your responses? This thread has got me wondering if the amps I've acquired this year in preparation for some gigging has been a waste![]()
