Banned!

I need to stop coming to this thread, as every time I do, I remember something else incredibly stupid I did to get tossed from somewhere.

The best for me (at least the funniest) that I can think of, is when I was thrown out of the local county fair when I was in highshool.

You know the games they have set up everywhere? You know, you pay a dollar in hopes to win a prize that costs 5 cents.....

Ever see the one with the bb machine guns where you have to shoot the red star out of the paper to win? Well, I handed the guy my dollar, and never once shot at the paper. It was a stuffed teddy bear massacre!!!!!! Plastic eyes and noses shattering and flying everywhere. He was yelling up a storm, but didn't have the balls to come near me, until my 100 rounds, or whatever were up.....and several fair bears were blinded for life.

Sorry guys, getting tossed out by a carnie takes the cake :D

LOL!! Not quite how I remember it. :hyper:

Hey, I deserved everything that happened and that's why I have not even tried to come back. It's all cool with the board owner and I.......we worked through the situation and have no hard feelings about the misunderstanding and what happened.

Such is life!

I'm sorry for anyone I offended, it's in the past though and I wish for it to stay there. I've learned a lot about posting on boards since that incident. I know what is right and what is wrong. I can only hope that we all learn from our mistakes and attempt to move forward and not repeat those mistakes.....

Peace?

I was falsely accused of shoplifting from a local store. It was a little junk store that sells seconds and surplus crap that's obtained at low wholesale prices. The owner walks up to me and sticks his hand in my coat pocket. After that, he tells me to empty my pockets. I ask him if he's accusing me of shoplifting (I've only ever shoplifted once in my life, and I was like 5 years old when I did it) and he said he was. I unleashed quite a barrage of obscenities. I emptied all of my pockets, threw my coat at him (while he's still adamant that I stole something, and says that I always steal  ) Of course, I didn't have anything on me because "I must have put it back". After the incident I spoke to a number of people and found out that I wasn't the first person to experience this harrassment.

A year or so later, I was returning home from work and saw him the shop window. I pulled into the parkinglot, honked my horn to get his attention, and flipped him off. I kick myself to this day though; I should have drug his ass to court for simple assult (when he put his hand on me during the intial encounter), but I guess you don't think of those types of things when you're indignant. The store went out of business about a year ago after he ran it into the ground. From what many people tell me, the dude has some serious problems with authoritiarianism.

It's too bad you were falsely accused. That would piss me off greatly and the guy sounds like an ass. However, you have a common misconception. It IS NOT assault when someone merely touches you. At least in my State, the assault statute is specific and includes the phrase "Cause or attempt to cause physical harm."

I got kicked out of a mom and pop restaurant once. My guitarist and I were hungry, and it was around 9 at night, and this place was open, so we stopped in, since the sign said "Open until 10!" So we order, and we've been eating for about 3 minutes, and it's 9:30, and the owner comes up and starts yelling at us to hurry up because he wants to leave early, and we're the only thing keeping him there. He yells at us for 5 minutes, then says he'll call the police if we don't leave, and when we leave, he yells that we are NEVER to return. He didn't give us change, either. He said that was the "mandatory gratuity." A nine dollar mandatory gratuity. Right.

So next week my guitarist and I went back earlier in the day, avoided being recognized, and we proceeded to super-glue everything on our table to the table. This includes napkins, sugar packets, dishes, and the change we left as a tip.

After that, I never went back.

The worst rule I've seen in my experience is "headshots don't count," so you guys in CO must be a little stricter than us here in Ontario.

In that case, I'd only do head shots, and a LOT of them, repeatedly, then run and hide...
