Banned!

I was also banned from Albany Bowl bowling alley for stealing a bowling pin on a scavenger hunt. I slid down the lane, grabbed the pin and scampered up the ball return. We got away with it but the manager/owner(?) remembered us the next time we went in and told his employees if they ever saw us not to let us bowl.
Ah.. the Albany Bowl. Last I heard that place had decended into a gang hangout. But that may just be rumors.

Reading through this thread I feel as if I may've stayed within the lines too much as I don't recall ever being banned from an establishment.:hmm:

23 years ago a friend got both of us banned from Taco Bell.

We went to the drive thru , in my car . At the window the employees were talking to him because they knew him , HE WORKED THERE.

He then proceeds to throw a huge pack of fire crackers in the window of the store . It was kind of surreal . We watched as employees and customers alike scattered and ran for cover . Then I slowly drove away .

They didn't call the police , they mailed us BANNED for LIFE letters instead.

That store was bulldozed two years ago so I guess I am in the clear.

I got kicked out of a music store, cause I was slapping a bass, and the guy working thought I was punching it.:hmm:

Probably a guitarist.:smug:

If your motions could be mistaken for punching, then maybe you should reconsider your in-store tryout routine, and possibly a bit of technique change could be in order... at least until you have a sales slip for that bass. Then beat the hell out of it without worry.

I got banned from the HC Bass Forum for telling the end of the last Harry Potter book. They started attacking me and I defended myself and told them all they are overreacting. I left for like a day or two and I couldn't sign back in when I went back. Babies... "OMG YOU HAVE NOW MADE THE BOOK NOT WORTH READING YOU SUCK OMG!!!"

That's the day I stuck with Talkbass as my bass-info forum.

- 1 year ban from walmart for "Performing sexually suggestive acts upon a mannequin" ..Night of drinking with some friends, went to walmart, One thing led to another, I tried to boink a mannequin. Big deal.

-Forever banished from my friends house for puking on everything, again, a night of drinking gone sour.

- Banned from a corner store for shoplifting...No, I was not shoplifting, the azn guy at the counter thought I was suspicious and called the cops, I had nothing on me, then he banned me. ***?

- Thursday night I got banned from all school dances. Went there with the lady friend, dressed like 80's grunge kids, meanwhile everyone was dressed all bright and colourful. We got asked to leave the premises and not attend anymore dances. So we went home and boinked. Much better night IMO.

Woah, if I read a post like that without warning I'd be pretty hacked off too.

Think about it. A series of books you loved since childhood, you've invested time and money into it, You can't wait to read the last book to find out what happens but some guy on a bass forum ruins it. 10 years of anticipation destroyed.

Although they, like me, should've perhaps stayed away from the internet until they find out for themselves. I mean it only takes a day.

lol, I was slapping really well, the guy that kicked me out just has never heard of slapping. It was one of those guitar stores where the manager will hire anybody who wants a job.:scowl:

But what I didn't say was they were discussing the book in a thread in white text, at the time you couldn't see white text against the background and I thought it was silly. If you want to discuss it, keep it to a PM or set up an IRC account or AIM multi chat. I was/am a fan of the series and nothing was ruined for me.

I still enjoyed the book. It was a big overreaction and all it did was make me laugh.

And the series was no where near that anticipated.

I was bounced from this ritzy bar called 115 Burbon Street for putting my head on a table. Only had a beer, or two. :eyebrow:

Guess its the "im too drunk" sign for the bouncers. Two of them walked up and said "time to go", and escorted me out of the building. At that point I called my friends, and we left.:scowl:

What a crock.

I grew up playing ice hockey, and my weekend social scene was usually the public skating sessions on Friday and Saturday evenings (I still have a thing for chicks with muscular ice-skater thighs). I don't even reall the specific incident, but a group of us were up to some sort of mischief and were asked to leave immediately and never return. I think all of us were back within a couple of weeks. About 2 years later, my first job was at the same ice rink.

I haven't gotten into much trouble as an adult...

...except with girlfriends and wives, resulting in temp-bans from geting into their pants.

I've been there once, That bar is the most overrated dump I've ever been in. I wouldn't loose sleep if that place and all the douche bags that hang out there caught fire and burned down
