bar fights...

All the same...i almost killed my 13 yr old stepson the other day i was on the floor playing with the baby and he gets smart and jumps on me (big kid) He reaches around me to grab my throat ...big mistake i did a catch on his elbow and a huge roll toss to the hardwood floors BAMM ...moms starts screaming ..."whats going on in there"....baby starts crying from the sound of him splatting on the floor...good move but i rolled on his face by accident when i took him over and bloodied his mouth ...felt bad ...but he started it
I have no control....funny how the trianing stays and the moves just happen...gotta get control...ok back to bass.

... since the subject of self defense has been brought up ,
one of the quickest bar fights that i remember was when
this stoned redneck put some rude advances on our drummers
wife ...
little did this guy know our drummer was the self defense instructor
at Lackland Air Force Base , and of course had taught his wife
a few things about fighting .
drummers wife kicked that guy's a$$ so bad ...
it was embarassing to watch a man get whipped like that ...
it was almost sad how fast this guy went down , and i mean he
was out cold ... had to be carried outside by his little friends .

last August a guy came up and spat at our guitarist while we were playing...
we believe he was very drunk and was trying to show his appreciation in what he thought was an authentic punk rock manner, but our guitarist didn't quite appreciate this and the guy got an Ibanez Jem broken over his head as a reward for his efforts
most of the time our audience get a bit boisterous.. jumping around, bashing into each other but there's never any real trouble... the occasional misunderstanding on the 'dancefloor', but nothing that you could call a fight...
