You have B axis on the MM pup too ?I don't have experience with the Delano, but I'm a bartolini fan in general and run the B Axis in a Warwick FNA Jazzman
Yes I know it’s a though call! I might do a comparison of both and see what it looks like! Thanks for the insightsThat's a tough call. I have a couple B-Axis Jazz sets and a Delano J/MM set. Both are very strong pickups, so it would probably depend on how aggressive I wanted it to play. If that was what I'm going for, I'd probably say Delanos and some bright strings, but only by a nose.
Full disclosure; I've never had the opportunity to play with a B-Axis MM pickup, nor a Redbox, and the ones I do have are for four-stringers...so, "grain o' salt" and all that.
Just on the J, I've been happy with the Warwick MEC splittable MM that's in that bass, but the MEC J was underwhelmingYou have B axis on the MM pup too ?
