I've got a Ibanez BTB with Bartolini Mk2's in it...
I recently changed from standard tuning to BEAD... after this change, the pickups seem to sound distorted...
I'm wondering if this is due to the pickup or maybe the interaction of a much thicker string?
I set the pickups as low as they'd go and it appears that the problem goes away somewhat, but still doesn't have the tone i'd like...
does anybody have any suggestions on what I can try? Do I need different electronics??? If this would help the problem, please give me some suggestions on what would be best.
