I have a 3 band Bartolini preamp that’s 4 knobs with stacked bass/treble. Can I possibly change that to 2 separate pots and what would I need to do so…All help is greatly appreciated

It’s the NTMB+F preampWhich Bart preamp is it?
Why don’t you want a stacked bass treble?
Great preamp depending on what you like. I have one matched with Bart P/J fretless. Wow is all i can say. It’s the NTMB+F preamp

Before you go unsoldering things, you could just add a "dummy" switch or knob to the empty hole?
OR...... The one con I have against the NTMB is that there is no passive tone/treble. There are times where I liketo go passive, and I can, but with no tone knob. So that is one option guys with the NTMB doThat’s true also
That’s the plan. I ordered a couple of Noble eq post recommended by mmbongo. Looks like that will work out fine. The dummy is ok for now but I like having separate tone pots anyway. Thank you all…blessingsThe stacked pot basically just has 2 "bodies" on the underside, each wired the way a single pot performing the same function would be. Just get two single pots of the correct style and value then wire them like the corresponding pot on the stack. You'll probably have to extend the leads, I'd leave enough for each single pot to reach the furthest possible hole, then neater any excess wire after they are in the correct position.
