Bartolini Soapbars in a Spector

Wassup people,

I was wondering if anyone out there has actually tried or heard a Spector Euro or Euro LX with Bartolini pickups in it. I love my Euro but the high end on EMG 40 DC's is a bit too much for me, even with various pre amps. Also has anyone tried the 40CS's? I know they're billed as warmer, but I'm wondering the collective consensus is.
