Bass amp--how do you haul yours around?

I have one of these. It worked well untill I let go of the handle one day while lugging a Shroeder 1212 cab. The telescoping handle got bent pretty good. I bent it back, but could never get it dead straight. It doesn't telescope any more. It was my fault, but be careful with that aluminum; it is very soft and bends easily.

K-Mart has a version of that cart without the bungee for about $29.00. Hasn't let me down yet. But I agree, you gotta be a little careful with it.

I've checked out those carts.... reasonably nice for the price, but not in the same universe as the $100-$135 (depending on model) Kart-a-Bag product. You could drive a car over them and they wouldn't bend.
The best thing about them are the stair walkers... very easy to pull the cart up the stairs and make it over curbs.
I realize they are expensive, but the value seems very good compared to the other carts listed here, given the quality and materials used.

Re: the Wesco folding cart - will the wheels fold in while the bottom plate (that you put the cargo on) is in the 'down' position?
The reason I ask is that I'd like to position my 410/amp in rack case stack, then fold in the wheels without removing the cart. That way it would be ready to roll when the gig is over.

Here is another picture I took when one of the locals tried to help me out. Nice little fat kid. You can see that the handle stayed bent.
no, they wont fold, when the plate's down. its a part of the mechanism. but the plate is pretty easy to wedge underneath a heavy rig if need be. and remember they make a few sizes from the super mini one i use, to the larger more heavier duty versions.

The front plate of the Wesco is longer. It is much easier to tip back when a majority of the weight is on the bottom plate.It's roughly twice the price, but a great cart just the same.
+1. My gear and PA parts. Even a BBII and my bass with it as short as it can be I roll down the street blocks to urban gigs with far away parking.

Hey, I think I have seen that kids pic on the back of a milk carton!!
I don't have any fancy carts or people, just me and my muscles to carry around my equipment. I'm young and stupid so I can handle it for now.
