Bass amp reccommendations?

Good Morning

Ive been looking for a new amp since I sold mine years ago. Now that I'm back to playing I would like something in the 50W to 100W range.

Any advice or reasons you have bought your amp would be appreciated!

I bought a Yorkville BassMaster 50 watt 1x10 amp for practice and easy to carry amp for rehearsals and open mic type gigs.

Sounded great, very punchy and dynamic, had aux in and headphone out, DI, Made in Canada very noticeable higher level build quality over inexpensive import builds. Was about $450 new so not a cheap 50 watt but had more punch and volume[played clean louder] than 'sham' rated types [100-200watts.]

Traynor [sister company] makes updated version SB110 120watt [also 12,15] at $450 new.

Can get used Yorkville/Traynor [was sold under both names] BassMaster for $150 or so.

I guess the majority of my playing will be jamming with a friend thats a drum player and perhaps small gigs in the future. I used to own an acoustic b100 which I enjoyed but I wouldn't mind something along those lines or a little higher end.

As soon as you said 'drums' you limited yourself to 100 watts and UP. Even at 100 watts you are quickly going to find out you are under gunned, unless you are playing folk or bluegrass.
