Bass amps

Only in the studio will I depend on phones , or monitor. If I am live be it a club of 100 ,or 2000 I will not play without my small 2/10 Fender Rumble 500. I don’t like a loud venue on stage and this little amp is a great stage amp monitorwise for me. I have also been happy with both the Jacoish tone and also with just adding the neckbutt pickup the slap is full and plenty of sweet brightness. Hopefully the sound guy can take a hint if you feed both mic and DI feeds. At 68yrs old it’s all I can handle . Only good for Jazz and easy R/B. For thrash I stand by the old SVT. Sorry guys....PEACE.. ROBBIE PS I would urge you young guys to spend more of your HARD EARNED money on high quality, massive eq ability that you can dial in parametrically versus the, in my opinion, outlandish prices you are spending to get tone on expensive basses. Believe it, or not, a properly tricked out $600.00 bass can be made to play and sound like a $3000.00 bass. Been in the business and made a living a long long time.
