Hey I'm looking for a new bass amp something around the $300 dollar price range. I'm not trying to spend alot of money. I need something that sounds good and have good tone for the money, and also have an active input. If anyone knows a lot about amps could you give me some choices of amps to pick from. Instead of me going from store to store trying out a thousand amps. Thanks!

What will you use it for? Will you be playing with other musicians? What kind of music will yo be playing? Do you plan to use it for paying gigs .. even if they are few and far between? Would you be willing to spend $50-$100 more? What is your level of experience as far as playing goes? What would you like to be doing bass wise 5 years from now?
