Bass and Guitar Amp Together

Hiya, I'm sure this has been asked before, but here we go.

I have an Orange CR60C (guitar combo amp) that i got for the royal blood bass+fake guitar sound. I was wondering if I could turn off the octave pedal and run the straight bass signal into the dirty channel of the guitar amp along with the sound coming out of the bass amp so i can get the clean bass sound and distorted/overdriven sound together. I turned the bass eq knob all the way down, so with this could I use this (at gigging volume levels) without damaging the speaker?

Absolutely you could, but it would require some outboard gear. What outboard gear is a question best asked in Effects, though.

You know, I think I misunderstood your question all the way around, so let me start over...

It should probably be safe if you turn the bass knob down like that, but I would start slowly with the volume knob and work up to the level you're looking for, and not just floor it.

Spend $100 on a Boss LS-2 Line Selector so you can spit your signal. It will allow you to run both signals together or either signal separately. Super useful little box that will give you good results for Royal Blood thing.

Where your plan will probably fail is trying to get a decent bass sound running both bass and "guitar" signals into the guitar amp. Keep the bass signals in the bass amp. You can use the LS-2 to do clean and dirty bass signals into one amp.
