Bass Builders that won't you cost over $2000

not sure Jerome does headless but he's who I'd hit up first Torzal Guitars
WOW !!!! Those are INSANE ! I love this thread !! Seeing builders I've never heard of that make basses with such passion and imagination. It's a shame that Fender gets all the glory for making CRAP.

Hi, does any one know any custom bass luthiers that won't charge you over $2000 for a 4-string bass? I'm looking to have a headless bass custom build for me but so far I think Tom Clement is my only option, his 4 string starts at $1450. Do you guys know any other luthiers that can make me a headless bass under $2000? Thank you so much!

Funny. I've been GASing for the same thing. And have settled on either Clement or Maruzcyk Frog.

Thinking the best thing is to save for a clement...

Oh my! Sweet!

Be very careful who you use. Some TB members ordered custom basses from a luthier called Darrin Huff for around $2400. And they are all still waiting for their basses that some of them fully paid for over 15 years ago.

That's INSANE and in my opinion illegal. Just for the record, GARZ GUITARS has your bass ready for delivery in about 4 months. INSANELY fast ! Mark is a pleasure to deal with, too.
