Holy Krap ! I just checked out his website. He has made SO MANY instruments and they are DIRT CHEAP with youtube demos.
WOW !!!! Those are INSANE ! I love this thread !! Seeing builders I've never heard of that make basses with such passion and imagination. It's a shame that Fender gets all the glory for making CRAP.not sure Jerome does headless but he's who I'd hit up first Torzal Guitars
Just going to recommend Kiesel...Custom order one from Kiesel?
I've got a Vader-6. It's a Great bass! The Kiesel Vader, Osiris and Zeus are sure good - looking.... No idea how they play or sound, so it could be a shot in the dark to order one. As stated above, make sure the return policy is completely understood … good luck!!
Their prices start at, 4k......not sure Jerome does headless but he's who I'd hit up first Torzal Guitars
They're expensive too I think, did u see their start prices?WOW !!!! Those are INSANE ! I love this thread !! Seeing builders I've never heard of that make basses with such passion and imagination. It's a shame that Fender gets all the glory for making CRAP.
my oh my, that's way more than the last time I looked...Their prices start at, 4k......
Thanks, but the headless Frog bass starts at 1590 euros, it goes easily over my $2000 USD budget with additional options
Is that 1590 including VAT? If you are outside Europe you won't have to pay VAT which will save you a good bit.
Hi, does any one know any custom bass luthiers that won't charge you over $2000 for a 4-string bass? I'm looking to have a headless bass custom build for me but so far I think Tom Clement is my only option, his 4 string starts at $1450. Do you guys know any other luthiers that can make me a headless bass under $2000? Thank you so much!
Be very careful who you use. Some TB members ordered custom basses from a luthier called Darrin Huff for around $2400. And they are all still waiting for their basses that some of them fully paid for over 15 years ago.
Just be sure you know what you want. Resale value is not so great. Thanks! Thats a good option too
