Bass Crack

Hey guys I'm thinking about buying this bass, well actually I've bought it but the guy hasn't shipped it yet. He says he noticed this crack in the head stock while he was getting it ready to ship. He says that he didn't know it was there and sent me these pics, saying he'd give me a discount if I still wanted it. What do you guys think? Is that something that will only get worse? Cause it looks like that it might to me.

Not expecting perfection but I want it to be fully functional and structurally sound. The only thing I can do with epoxy and clamps is make a mess.

There it is. I don't have the skills or tools necessary to fix it and it sounds like you don't either. I'd pass.

What, did you find the most honest ebay seller in the world?

I ordered a DX7 synth book 20 days ago & the guy still hasn't shipped it yet because he can't find a box large enough to fit..

Hah yeah maybe, he seems like a good enough guy but I think he got stuck with the bass when he took it in on a trade.

I've sent him the "sorry but please refund my money" message, hope he continues to be cool about it. Kinda sucks cause I was trying to sneak my own little birthday prezzie past the gf.
