Bass Fidelity SR 10

Does anybody have any experience with this combo amp: "Bass Fidelity SR 10". The only review I can find is from 2012 and the owner just got it. Any info would help. I know they are expensive and did not sell well in North America (maybe that's a sign). I am looking for a tone footprint "sounds like..." also reliability comments would be appreciated, all comments for that matter. There is one used near me but it's a 90 min drive, I want to get input before I jump in the Honda. I play a Stingray Classic 5, mostly rock. Thanks

Sold under the "SR Technology" label here in Italy ("Bass Fidelity" is the product series). Their small PA stuff is well-regarded, their product line for bass amplification also seems to be according to a cursory search on a forum here:

Ahem, good luck babelfishing it, it's mostly slang.

I bought one of these used from a guy near Ottawa Canada and it was non-funtioning at the time. I paid him $100 (Canadian) and took it to my repair guy. He told me that someone had tried to Mod the preamp and had to do a bit of work to remove the mods but he was able to resurrect this lovely little combo. I think I paid him about $150 for the fix.

This is a really sweet little combo that can really hold its own. I recently used it for a jam session with a drummer and 2 loud guitarists. I did run it thru a 410 guitar cab for a little extra volume but it had lots of volume and the tone was fabulous. A bonus is the integrated DI does a very nice job as the source for a live recording where I patched it XLR right into my Zoom H6 recorder.
I can definitely recommend this combo for small gigs or rehearsals. Great sound in a tiny package.
