Bass Fret buzz only on certain frets

Hi guys

I've got a Dean Edge 5 string, and as much as I love it, it buzzes badly at certain frets, but not all of them, it's mainly 12th and 22nd fret that buzzes horribly. Does it need setting up or can I just raise the action of the strings to stop it? Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers!:bassist:

You can raise the action, but you'll still have a couple of bad frets that you haven't dealt with. Yes, it needs a setup at the very least.
