Hey everyone, i'm back, though i forget if i ever actually posted more than one thread here...
Anyways, I have a problem with my bass' wiring.
I've wired the bass using a diagram i sorta threw together by looking at a diagram for the two different pups. knowing me i need something else. Anways, initially the bass was alright, a little on the quiet side, and for some reason i think the tone knob could actually cut off the sound if i turned it all the way to one extreme.
I took off the strings, put new springs and longer screws into the pups/cavities and now when i plug in the bass all i hear is BUZZZZZZZZ. When i go to pluck the strings nothing happens. The buzz cuts out slightly when i tap the strings, but the bass doesn't sound. Any help would be appreciated!
