agree Rusty...my teacher is a fulltime pro player, played in the Marcus Miller band on the last 2 Jazz Cruises, as well as Herbie, and dozens of "smooth Jazz" names that come to my state. He's at $60/hr and well worth it.

I've never seen or heard of a teacher using Skype to teach multiple students. That's not professional and it would hurt their business. This is a really bizarre aspect to bring up.

I agree. I can't even imagine such a scenario.

You need to have multiple answers. Around here it can be $15 to $75 or more depending on the teacher.

there are local studios charging somewhere around $22 per lesson (teacher gets half, owner gets half) and there are lots of top notch professionals calling for over $50 for 30 minutes.

I had not thought about that. Makes the results somewhat less accurate I guess.
