Bass Head for under $900 ?

Hey, so i recently got a YBA200-2 head and YBX1510 600w cab, and turns out my head isnt working, so my local music dealer is going to order in any head i want as a trade for equal or under the price i payed for the YBA200-2 , which is $895. What should i get?

Best bang for the buck IMHO is the Hartke LH1000, around $625 or so...

If you're wantin' tubes, try the Peavey VB2. Same price. I've heard nothing but good things about. Made in USA. About the same wattage.

Well first off, my dealer is willing to order it in i assume, cause there isnt a head in the place. so anything, really

And ill check that Hartke out.

Tubes, i think im gonna stay clear from. A SS should do me just fine.

GK all the way, the Hartke LH series is supposedly very good.

Stay away from the ampeg stuff in that price range.

Another good amp is the Peavey Tour 700.

That Peavey Tour head sounds really good for an all mosfet amp.

In that price range you won't be able to beat the Link Removed head... really!
Plus you'll save enough money to buy some other junk that you really don't need!

Carvin BX1200 dual mono block head - $699.99, can be run at 8, 4, 2 ohms respectfully. Bells and whistles for days, super reliable, I know I've been a proud owner for 2 yrs and gig almost every weekend.
