Bass instrument cable and speaker cable

im looking for good cheap cables. not 80$ monster cables.

good, because monsters are poop anyway.

I recommend going to a local, reputable music store. Might be MyStarSound dealers or have some sort of locally made cable, often times with a rad warranty.

There is always Link Removed but don't expect a fast turn around (took a month to get mine).

I'm quite pleased with the cable I got though.

I've have a set of custom GS-6 Canare Cables arriving in the next day or two (provided the mail arrives before this next blizzard):
Link Removed
They were pretty much fabricated and shipped with a one-week turnaround, and they have neutrik connections that are silver-soldered with a 5-year guarantee. I picked up a 20' and 10' cable for $75 (one silent plug), shipping inclusive. So far, I've been very impressed with their service. I'll let you know how I make out.

Another alternative that I just found is Link Removed
They also are silver-solder with the silent connectors, but have a lifetime guarantee for a comparable price.

when I worked in guitar sales, the price markup on cables was like 400 or 500 percent. store cost for a 13.00 20 ft guitar cable was around 3 dollars. I always found that amazing. Before I quit I stocked up using my @ cost employee discount. I'm still using some of those 3.00 cables and that was 2003. I cant see much reason to spend 50.00 on one cable, knowing that it probably costs monster 5.00 to manufacture it.

i haven't heard of roadhog cables. are they a good buy??
