Well, when you put it that way, yeah it's lame. I took it more to mean that it take six times the amount of spotlight bass players get to equal the amount one guitarist receives. Everybody knows Bass player> Guitar player in all physical challenges.

Say what you will but I am one of two surviving members from the band I was in back in the 80's. I was married at 20 (should have thought that one through as she ended up being the wrong woman) and as such I never messed around. Sure I would flirt but nothing more than that. The drummer, rhythm guitarist, and the singer had all died of AIDS or AIDS related issues by the mid 90's.

I've read, and lived through, a LOT of band bios, and this ... this is a new one on me.

Many say the wrong woman ruined their life. The wrong woman may've saved yours. Congrats!
