I missed my wife's birthday once to see my favorite football team play, ahah! Last game of the league, we could (and were) be Champions, no way I was gonna miss that, after making hundreds of kms supporting them through the season!
I'm totally forwarding these posts to my ex-wife.
She didn't even got mad, it's always been like this since we met. I'm a fanatic (non violent, of course), no problem admitting that.
I'm talking football, soccer for the americans. Very serious matter in Europe. Benfica is family, she knows that.
It was my wife's birthday last week. She specifically said that I couldn't buy myself any toys, particularly new basses, any time close to her birthday. I let a decent sale slip through my fingers because I know it wouldn't have been wise and there will be more for sale soon.

It’s OK. I primed Nicki by showing her this thread, which got a laugh. Then she granted permission to open it. It arrived about 29 minutes ago. I still have all my limbs! NBD thread tomorrow though. Got to make special birthday dinner and chill the Prosecco first.
