Bass Micro Synth Trim

Hey Guys,
I've owned this Bass Micro Synth for a while now without ever reading the manual about it^^
so like twenty minutes ago i heard about the need to "trim" it before using it. they say the basic setting is input trim for passive single coil, now the prob is me having an active humbucker on my bass :D
so basically all I wanna know is wether i need to crank the trim up or down and how much i need to crank it :)
thx for the help ;)

Crank the octave down and dry slider, turn the resonance down to nil, the start and stop freq in a 'normal' bass sounding area (it doesn't have to be perfect). Play your bass and adjust the trimmer until there is no clipping on your loudest notes. Reassamble and enjoy your pedal.
