Bass mods pre install

Hello fellow bassist. I have a fender jazz Mexican and wanted to spice it up. I just bought the bassmods 2 band pre with stacked bass and treble and a volume. I want to add a blend control and I also bought at set of 59cbjd bartolini bass pickups. How do I go about adding the blend??!

Ok. I'm assuming you are using passive pickups so you need either a 250k or 500k blend pot. Right now, I'm guessing your pickups are running directly to the volume pots. I don't know the Bass Mods preamp wiring but typically you would get rid of one volume pot and run the pickups to the blend pot. Then got blend out to the volume pot. It's really a simple change.

If you currently have two volume pots, remove one. You will then run you pickups to blend and then blend to volume then volume into preamp input. You can search here to figure out how to wire a blend pot. Using a multimeter makes it easier to figure out where to connect what on the blend because not all blend pots are the same.
