bass names

I name all of mine. I won't go through all of their names as they each have their own story/origin (detailing them all would make this post at least five times longer), just gonna share the tale of the very first one here

My swirl bass (which is my #1) is named Hepzibah, named after the Starjammers comic book character, whose moniker refers to Lady Hepzibah from the Pogo comics (because Starjammers Hepzibah's actual name is a series of scents unpronounceable by humans, so Corsair took to calling her Hepzibah).

My recently acquired blue 5-string has no name yet. It hasn't earned a moniker yet, and I don't just name things arbitrarily.

This may be a strange question. But I was noodling around last week and my wife refers to my bass as the other woman. Then she asked me if I named her. I think the question stemmed from what she knows about BB King and Lucille the most famous guitar ever. So I am curious do any of you all name your basses?
This has been brought up before, and my answer is, no. It’s puerile, and the use of female names is lame, if not a little creepy. If needed, I just go with make, model, color, or string count.

I never had before but I bought a motorcycle from a guy that had bought it on Valentines Day so he named it Valentine. I occasionally call it Val. Shortly after my wife asked if i named instruments so i called my G&L Gillian. It's Honeyburst but looks reddish. (I think we were doing an X Files marathon at the time)

Haven't named anything else.
