Bass Notes Through PA - Will It Bark?

OK - the song by Marty Robbins: "Don't Worry About Me" with all that fuzz-tone added in - does that bass effect drive a PA speaker harder than it would if it were a clean tone?

Leaving the volume at the same level - is an effect like something that heavy gonna hit the cone of the PA harder or cause more excursion?

as long as you don't go nuts with the gain or low end, you should be fine.

What are the specs of your pa cabinets

Not much - it's an older Peavey PA-100 4-channel with an ART Tube preamp for a little heat.

It has a 15-inch @ 16-Ohms and a pair of Kustom KSC10s with an Ohm-load of another 16-Ohm series setup for a total of 8-Ohms overall.

I was just trying to solve for the fuzz-tone verses the clean sound and if one or the other is harder on the speakers and electronics at the same volume settings.

No, fuzz is not harder on speakers than clean tone. It's excess power that hurts speakers, not "fuzziness".
