I got a new camera for graduation, and I took this pic just to test out the macro. I thought it turned out pretty well so I figured I'd upload it

Thank you very much. I just picked up a matching quilt top Modulus Vintage Jazz, same year and (I believe) same finish. Due in tomorrow and can't wait! I'll post some pics of the pair when they're all here.
Took these the other day for an auction and thought I'd share. Thought they came out pretty darn snazzy for a lowly iFone:

Not all of these came out as well as I'd like as I'm without a tripod right now...
This is a fine example of well worn, played to heck and still going. Previous owner, at some point, was a "locked in 3rd position" player. You can see where his thumb went (G, on the E string) and where the finish wore off the underside of the neck at that position as well.
The finish is extremely, finely, weather checked. Hard to photograph, but, You get the picture:

1985...it's the only G&L I own "with a pointy headstock," but it retains the single coil option from the original L2Ke...

Here's a "before" shot of a Bass I rescued last year. Wanted to refinish it, but after I took off the PG, I fell in love with the "burst. Never did put the PG back on.
