Your blonde Ricky - is it a real Rickenbacker? It certainly looks as well built as any. Are headstocks always as thick as in yours?

Hi! I really don't know. If it is a real Rick - many of its part have been replaced with non-original through the years, this is an old bass - maybe 30 years or more. It's possible to be some kind of Japanese Copy or something. It was in very poor condition, but it's rebuilt and customized heavily by Bulgarian luthier Kostadin Dimitrov - http://www.kdbasses.com/ . He made a real miracle with this bass and gave it a new life!

The neck was broke off from the body and someone decided to fit it with some screws - no NT anymore... So, now it's a set neck construction. I'll make a whole new separate threat with pics and explanations about the rebuilt of this instrument.
Unbelievable price! You know what they normally sell for over here in Europe

My Rolig acoustic bass guitar
Great composition, lighting and subject! The string shadows are cool along with the blinds (I assume).
I know a great picture or great photography is in the eye of the beholder, but this is the sort of image that I come in hear to find and definitely admire.
Am I alone in this?

I guess I'll continue the "Reptiles on Basses" theme from the last thread. This is my "dog". We'll, she's like a dog. She has free roam of the house and has tons of personality.
