Can anyone else see the optical illusion here?If you look at it at the right angle,that looks like a normal neck sitting at a different angle to the rest of the bass.A bit like one of those 'impossible pictures'

I'd have to go back and look, but I think it is f2.8. I used a Canon 100L macro lens, so that sounds about right.

Brass tubing filled with rosewood dust and ??? for the side dots. Ben's idea. The color is something that Ben Lindsey picked out for me when I asked for something outrageous in the orange family. I think he EXCEEDED my expectations. I call it Hot Fiesta Orange Metallic. Ben's the 'B' in JBD.

Thanks! I've had it about 6 days. I had to shield and install the electronics and do setup first... finished all that last Saturday and played it in rehearsal last night for the first time. Debut this Sunday.
