I wasn't being critical! It's a very nice shot, but this is the 'Bass Photography' thread', not the 'The Official TB Photography Thread', which is where, IMHO, your picture completely deserves to be!

Dave, you do know that I was joking, don't you? I put the words "stave" and "note" in bold, as they are both related to music notation, just like the image that I posted ;). I wasn't serious about your 'criticism', but my wordy pun wouldn't have worked without writing that :D.

Anyway, if I wanted to get all pedantic on you (which I don't, especially), I could argue that the title of this thread lends itself to anything bass related, as it doesn't specify bass guitars :smug:. But, I have to accept that was going off on quite a tangent there.

Besides, I don't have any basses to photograph that would excite anyone here, any more :(. I sold the good ones to buy my camera equipment :hiding:.

The wonders of reading this on the TB app is you don't get the bold words, so I regret to say that your pun passed me by!

BTW some great shots here with common or garden basses taken on common or garden cameras; just not on a carpet, bed-spread or sofas please! :D

:D All is not what it seems, A.Diva.

The room (my living room) is actually hexagonal and that side is one of the shorter ones (it's not a symmetrical hexagon). So, the room is actually about 25 feet across :).

It's a weird space to live in though :hmm:. The further you reach into the room, the smaller everything gets :( ....

Tell me about those speakers in your stereo system...

Er, um ... my ENTIRE house is only about 35-40 feet wide. :hmm:

**giggle** "The further you reach in, the smaller everything gets"
