All of your pictures are amazing... there is something about this picture that draws me in...

Ok; I ran through this thread again. Some great shots indeed! I decided to do a top 12 (IMHO!). I started at 30 and cut this down to 20 and then to a final 12. I also 'disqualified' any of my images!
I was very scientific in my selection process(!): I scrolled down each page and the ones that 'jumped' out at me made my list. I didn't spend a lot of time comparing images against each other.
Also worth noting is some of the latter images, which I didn't pick, probably suffered from being similar to an image I'd already picked. There were also a couple of images that would have made it were it not for the text across the image (However, I respect the right of the photographer's copyright).
It was very hard to get from 20 to 12 and hopefully I tried to keep my GAS/lust(!) out of it!
Anyway having said all of that here they are (in no particular order apart from that as posted!):

Great colors and lighting.

Love the lighting - the window's make this shot for me!

Fab color! Great composition. I'd love to see this at a higher F stop, although it might not work as well as this!

A great close up! As a 'righty' this stood out to me! Of course it may well be a right hand bass. Who knows/cares?!

A really nice composition; the edge blur brings focus to the playing. I can almost hear the bass!

A really gritty shot. Backstage: maybe/maybe not? This image tells a story. I can smell it!

The color/contrast is striking. This bass is on fire!

Lovely composition (nice crop); pink and black always works. Very feminine!

Great lighting, composition, color (and bass - oops!). Could be a brochure shot.

...couldn't leave this out; staged but sexual. 'Never seen an SX looking a million $s and what a grip!

Sometimes the simplest photos can really work even if this one shouldn't!

Simple: color and contrast. I love the way the neck disappears into space. Maybe my favorite?
Nice! Mine mad e the cut...sure are some great photos out there! Let me kniw if you want a higher res version!
It's just a good job the lighting is so cool, else I'd be convinced this pick was partly down to GAS! Seriously - a great pic IMHO!
I miss this bass terribly. Photo credits to Carey Nordstrand !
The bass you have there in the Fire quilted finish is an exact replica of my MIK Fender J..basslines pup's and all..but whats with that clear plastic spacer between the pups'? Never seen that before, is there a purpose? Thanks. Here are my Fenders side by side.

Here's a couple of my favorite shots:

Following Fender32's advice on taking better pics with a pocket camera I took these pics of my recently sold Acacia Gruv/GLB.

I got all excited and took a bunch more that you can check out here. I took some macros but I wasn't happy with how they turned out so they aren't they're I'll post some of the bass I should be getting when I get some time.
Those tips worked wonders. My pics used to always turn out blurry and unfocused but now they look pretty sweet. And I don't know if Fender32 mentioned it and it's probably common knowledge knowing how slow I am, but natural light is your best friend when taking pictures. If you can't get outside get a room with some windows that let the sun shine right through.
I'm glad you didn't post these before my 'top 12' list last night. It would have made it too hard! First shot is beautiful - very feminine!
Love that first shot too!
