I was shooting next to a window; following the Bunny bass photo tips.
The shadows from the dividers just fell appropriately on my old Reverend bass.

and I fed another picture of the same bass through a "pencil sketch" thing on facebook and got this:

I especially dug these:

The pattern of holes in the wall is sort of repeated by the birdseye of the headstock

Very nice photography. Observe how the neck relief is shown by the reflection of the strings on the (ebony?) fretboard.

This bass tells a story of glory. Like an old man on a porch bench.

Nice colour blend of different materials. It would be perfect if the napkin beneath the bass would be completely hidden and the image was cropped to remove the shadow at the top and the toe at the bottom.
