Ok Jordasch, this is as tropical as I can get for the moment!

And I'm now done, before I get accused of hijacking this thread!![]()
I should add I learned my photography in high school from a great teacher called Robbie Simpson! He was not only a good teacher but a great mentor, anyway before I get too sentimental (he died a while back) he drummed it into our heads about backgrounds and not getting too focused on your subject matter. He had some good shots of how not to take a great photo! You know lamp post coming out of heads, flowerpots as ears, etc.!!
Anyway it was drummed into my head, so that when I see a great shot with a poor background it leaps out at me. You'll also find that you'll get more enjoyment out of your pictures if you do start thinking about things like lamp posts and flower pots, dirty carpets and bed spreads!!
Just my $0.02

Is that a haiku?
your atk pyramids
fill me with worry
that they may fall
Almost; a Haiku has five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the last. For instance:
I have much worry
your ATK pyramid
could well fall over
not the best, but the proper form for a Haiku. Still, Markusbass has seen oriental wisdom in this quote. Very wise, grasshopper....![]()
I do my best and drink a lot of sake.
