Bass pickups help?

Hi again.

I recently bought a set of SD basslines that are the stacked humbucker type pickup for a project jazz bass. I've sold that bass and now have an American Jazz i'm thinking of putting them in. Anyone have any experience with SDs like this? Would be worth modding or not?

Any help will be appreciated.

I use them, and have grown really fond of them recently.
